We have been honored to come to know Catherine Weers, E-Learning Coordinator of the Virtual Instruction Program in Chesapeake, Virginia and blogger behind edutechchick. Read on to see how Catherine suggests using buncee to help students leave a positive digital footprint!
Students spend just as much time interacting with others online as they do in a face-to-face setting. It is critical for them to think beyond using technology for the sole purpose of socializing and make a conscious effort towards creating a positive digital footprint. Teachers, charged with preparing students for a world very different from how they grew up, must incorporate these skills seamlessly into their lessons. Teachers should consider incorporating digital citizenship skills into their classrooms, including how to leave a positive digital footprint. It is these lessons that extend past the walls of school and go beyond just teaching the subject matter.
Students, here are 3 ways that Buncee can help you can leave a positive digital footprint:
-
Creating meaningful online content with Buncee to illustrate your knowledge- taking what you learn from class and applying it to create an actual product shows your creativity, ingenuity, and shows what you know better than a multiple choice test!

Students may not remember who Hammurabi is for in four years (sorry, fellow history teachers, it’s true!) but they will remember you taught them how to use a cool tech tool, like Buncee, that made them stand out from the crowd.
