This holiday season, get creative while saving time. Bring your personality into your holiday greetings, then easily share them with your class, colleagues, friends, and family.
Whether you’re sharing a holiday greeting from classroom to classroom, or sending an update to your students’ families, staying in touch should be seamless and simple. Read on for instructions on how to share your buncees easily!
Don’t have time to craft cards and send them out? Simply send your custom digital creation through email, a private link, embed its code into your blog, or share with your networks on social media sites such as Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Google Plus.
Let’s take a look at the creation canvas.
Start by clicking the SHARE button in the top righthand corner once.
The following menu will appear:
This menu allows you to choose whether you would like to keep your buncee private, which is the default setting, or to publicly post it on edu.buncee.com. Teachers with Buncee EDU Plus accounts have this option, but students must acquire permission from their teachers to make a buncee public.
I) Comments
You can enable comments whether the buncee is private or public, and allow students to practice digital citizenship in a safe and closed environment online.
II) Copyable Buncees
Allowing a buncee to be “Copyable” gives you the ability to use your buncee creation as a template space in which they can provide responses and make edits as desired.
Upon choosing to copy a buncee, the copied buncee will be saved in the student’s account. (The title of the buncee will be labeled as a copy for the person who copies it, but will remain the same for the original creator.)
Even if your buncee is private, you may share it through a private and specifically directed link. Click CODE to access this private link.*
*If your buncee is set to be public, your link will also be public. if not, it will only be able to be seen by the people with whom you share the link.
III) Embed Your Buncee
Your embed code can also be copied and pasted into the code of your blog or website and shared live. (This is different than just sharing a screenshot because your buncee will be interactive when it is embedded.) Check out the Riverhead Library Homepage to see how they’re using embedded buncees to share their event schedule.
IV) Email
If you would like to email your buncee to one email or a group, it’s as simple as entering emails and hitting the ENTER key, then pressing SEND. You can also import your email contacts from Yahoo, Gmail, or buncee and choose from that list. If you’re emailing to a large group of people, you can easily add emails from a CSV file.
V) Social Media
Sharing your buncee with your social media networks is a great way to send out an open invitation, advertise an event, or share a moment with your friends and followers. Click SOCIAL and then choose which social media account you’d like to connect with.
Buncee’s ability to be shared across multiple platforms is one of the awesome features that sets it apart from any other educational tool. Share your creation with the people who make your holiday season warm and bright!
